UDOI Booster

UDOI -Booster will set up the research framework for user-driven open innovation. The framework will facilitate the participation of users as co-designers and it will extend the research focus from individual services and users to service ecosystems. Thus, the horizontal project boosts the work of the projects in vertical research areas.

The work in Booster focuses on:

User communities: forming general guidelines on what kind of user/user community involvement and co-creation approaches to use in different types and stages of innovation.

User research methods and framework: user driven innovation methods, tools, resources and framework research to determine what are the characteristics of successful UDOI process.

Case studies: Learning by doing. Cases from FS projects will be planned by matching UDOI methods tools and resources needed for these service development cases.

User research co-operation: Setting up the co-operation and co-creating practices within the Flexible Services programme in user research.
